In today's fast-paced business world, efficiency is crucial. Your customers have high expectations, and automating your workflow can help you meet those expectations while saving you time and headaches. In this video tutorial, we will walk you through the process of setting up automation schedules in Acumatica, so you can optimize even the most time-consuming tasks quickly and easily.

Step 1: Prepare for an Automated Schedule for Cheque Runs

To begin, navigate to the Payables workspace by clicking on the Menu in the top left-hand corner of the screen. From there, select the Prepare Payments workspace under the Processes header.

Step 2: Access the Payments Process

Once you're on the Payments Process page, you'll need to specify a payment method. Simply click on the magnifying glass icon in the Payment Methods field to do this.

Step 3: Customize Your Automation Schedule

In the top-left corner of the screen, you'll find four buttons. The button on the far right is the Schedules button, which allows you to set an automation schedule. Click on the Schedules button and select "add" to proceed.

A new window will appear where you can fill in all the necessary details for your automation. Provide a description for your automation, then navigate to the Schedule tab. Here, you can choose the frequency and day of the week for your automation to occur. Additionally, you can set the exact time for the automation in the Execution Time section of the window.

Once you've completed these steps, click the save button at the top of the window, and your automation schedule is ready to go!
