In 2019, Envent implemented Acumatica Cloud ERP. Andy joined Envent in October 2020, and they are constantly looking for new ways to increase productivity and efficiency. Challenges
Based out of Calgary, Canada, with offices and representatives worldwide, Envent Engineering started its business in 2003. They manufacture H2S and Total Sulfur Analyzers, Moisture CH4, CO2 & O2 monitors, gas chromatographs, and tunable filter spectrometer systems for the natural gas industry.
Envent differentiated itself from the competition by getting its products to customers faster. Before implementing Acumatica Cloud ERP, they struggled with outdated, non-integrated systems and relied heavily on Excel spreadsheets, whiteboards and clipboards. Getting visibility on production and delivery status across departments that needed the key information wasn't easy. As the business grew, meeting customer expectations with non-integrated and manual systems became more difficult.
Clearly, they needed a flexible and robust modern ERP system to deliver real-time, accurate data to help them continue to compete. There is a lot of complexity in designing, manufacturing, selling, distributing and servicing their highly technical products to the global market. They needed a new ERP solution that could handle these complex requirements and have multi-currency and multi-language capabilities.
